shop license ZimbabweIf your business sells from a shop in Zimbabwe, you’re going to require a shop license to trade legally and fully formalize your business. Procedure For Application For A Shop License

  1. Pay $20-00 administration fee at banking hall (Rowan Martin Building/ City of Harare), ground floor. Take receipt to Licensing office, also on round floor.
  2. You will be issued with a) SL2 Form and b) Advertising forms to advertise in a daily paper
  3. Advertise, then bring cutting of first advert together with completed SL2 forms to Licensing office. You will be required to pay a $60 submission fee at this point.
  4. A Health inspection form will be issued, and a health inspector will look at your premises.
  5. If all is satisfactory, you will be given a BUS account number (room 104) – then pay $160 for a temporary trading permit, pending date of meeting.
  6. Now you’ll be required to bring a cutting of your second advert to licensing office before the date of your meeting.
  7. Pay the licensing fee after date of authority meeting

Please note, it’s important to submit your applications and reports for advertised dates on time or you may be forced to advertise again.
